Wendari uses your location to find interesting places nearby and to provide turn-by-turn walking directions. Your location is only sent to our server during tour generation and is not stored.
Do I need to create an account?
No. You can generate and navigate tours without signing in.
Can I use Wendari offline?
Tour generation requires an internet connection. However, once a tour is generated, turn-by-turn navigation uses on-device maps and works with limited connectivity.
How does background narration work?
When enabled in Settings, Wendari uses your location in the background to detect when you arrive at a stop and narrates it automatically — even with your screen locked. You can disable this at any time.
